The folks at iRobot stopped developing Jetsons-inspired robot vacuum cleaners for a second to crank out the Sentinel, a technology that allows users to control several different robots simultaneously from a Tablet PC. The technology is being aimed at our fighting men and first responders so they can more safely and efficiently haul ass. The Army threw iRobot some cash to develop the Sentinel, so it's only a matter of time before the technology is deployed in any one of our well-managed theaters of operation.

That's the same tablet I use. I have yet to find its equal.
Well heck ya if it can control a squad of deathbots.
I, for one, welcome our robot overlords. I already give three of them free electricity.
A single table PC? As opposed to a PC that takes up two tables?
FWIW, iRobot has been making military robots for awhile, and several were actually employed in Afghanistan for cave exploration and whatnot. Lives have been saved as a result of a robot exploding on a land-mine or other booby-trap.
...nonetheless, controlling several from one small computer is pretty badass.
